Please Help!!

for some reason on my computer i cannot open many sites or perform any activities I want on the computer. When I click on the things that dont work it says in the bottom left corner "javascript:Open" (and then different words after that. I click on the link but nothing ever happens it just says that stuff in the bottom left hand corner. I have tried enabaling and disabaling javascript but either way it doesn't work. Is anyone familiar with this problem

What is your browser name and version? This info can generally be found under "Help" and "About" sections of the browser's menu.

what sites in particular do you see this message? what browser / OS are you using? Do you have a popup blocker installed?
