Please can someone try help explain why I am unable to connect to our Octel VMX 200 system.
We have a works application and a voicemail application. The works app has an external modem which I can connect to fine. I am having problems connecting to the voicemail app, I used to be able to until about 2 days ago.
I used to dial the voicemail number in Hyperterminal with the string ,,,###5 on the end but now it just wont answer with the modem. I have checked all settings I.e data bits, port speed, parity etc which are correct.
could it be a problem with the internal modem? is there any Init string? can the modem be reset?
I dont think the ###5 password has been changed!!!
