Please Help Me I cant see anything when windows pops up !

Everything is black becouse I changed resolution to 1600 pixels or something and now the screen tells me that the picture is out of range or something. My screen is like a computer itself when it detects a screen-picture that is too big, then its just go black and wont go back to normal mode and every thing is just black.
Ive tried to change back but It's like walking in the dark.
I just cant se anything please somebody HELP ! ! ! ! ! !
Ive tried everything now and I cant fix it, I thing it's a bug becouse usually it gets back previous mode but this time nothing ! It's hopeless I will not be able to fix this bemyself I need some profisional help here.
Im using Linux now becouse it works. Windows 98 just wont work... I have them both installed.

Can you boot into safe mode (press F8 or Ctrl key before windows boots - select safe mode from menu). You can change resolution there to something sensible, then reboot into normal mode).
