can someone please tell me how to create a shared folder(my documents) that all 4 users of 1 computer can see and use on the desktop..i tried shareing my documents with all users,that didn't work
Are you talking about sharing a folder on single machine with multiple users on the machine? (rather than a network share). If so, you just need to access properties, security tab for folder & add users concerned to the list alreadt there. Quite straightforward. Post back if this is not your problem!
Log in as your user name. Right click on my documents and copy down what the target is. Log on as the other users and change their target to your directory.
yes shareing on one machine..i guess i was asleep at the wheel..i just went to all users and shared my documents,then created shortcut to everbody's desktop
