"a program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in outlook. do you want to allow this?"

This message is in OUTLOOK 2000:

I have a user that does not have a palm or any type of active sync device that keeps getting this message. How do we get rid of it. They always have to click "NO" is there anyway to default to "NO"? It just started coming up all of the sudden. Thanks to everyone in advance.

Have you try scanning your system for viruses?

It does sound like you have a worm/virus/trojan. I would update your virus dat files and scan the system. Also ask the user if they have copied anything from a floppy/cd/dvd/download without virus checking.

Check for apps running, like Gator, Save Now, Bonzi Buddy, Weather Bug or anything like these. When you install some of these apps and click agree to the license agreement, like we all do, you give them permission do tap all sorts of info, including email.
