It's Monday....

How do I get the SUBSTITUTE worksheet function to work in Access 2000? When we run it, Access returns an error message saying it isn't a valid function name. I'm guessing it must be a references thing, but I'm not having much luck on my own right now.

All help gratefully accepted....nominations for sainthood pending.........
