pleas help very urgent..

I am writting a method and it is in the same jsp file ... I call this method inside the jsp tag... when i run the jsp file from the browser ... the jsp execution monitor is shows an error that the method within the class not found....

can u tell me how would be able to come across this problem....any help would be appreciated....
