We recently switched from Quark to Indesign for our magazine layouts.

Can anyone tell me how to place editable text (without creating outlines) on top of a image that has Text Wrap attributes? I need the object to have text wrap for the normal Body copy but i also need to place an editable cutline on top of the picture itself.

You select the text fram

Cmd Click (on mac) / right click (on windows)

Text Frame Options

Select the Ignore Text Wrap at the bottom of the dialog box.
