Probably a dumb question, but I'm no Word expert.
Is there a way to place a button on a toolbar to invoke the "Scribble Line" drawing function that's available via AutoShapes/Lines submenu? I need to make this available to users on a tablet PC (doctors) in a Word template without so many clicks (they want to circle items in a list, draw on a picture in the template, etc.)

Any help would be appreciated, including suggestions for other approaches. We're experimenting with Tablet PC running Windows XP Tablet.

Thanks,

Right click on the toolbar section and choose cutomize. Pick the toolbar tab and choose custom. There you can create a custom toolbar.

Actually, you can add it to toolbars you already have, just right click on the toolbar region and choose customize. Then pick the commands tab abd on the left side choose autoshapes. On the right side you should find the scribble option and you can drag it to any toolbar.

Thanks, that worked (don't know how I missed that before). We're also trying out "ink annotations" after messing around with it over the weekend.
