also sells their Perl Developer's Kit which contains their 'perlApp' application which will do the same trick. I have build several perl/Tk apps with it which work well.

That's sounds really enticing. I've had good experience with activestates stuff and I'd really be interested in checking out their perl dev kit. Thanks for the tip.
