Hello Everone,

I need some help in deciding whether to go with SonicWall Pro or Cisco PIX 515 (or better). At Site A I currently have PIX 506e, and Site B I have Sonicwall Pro. At Site A we are thinking of upgrading the firewall to either a better PIX that supports failover (so we would purchase two) or upgrade to Sonicwall PRO which also supports failover. We're on VoIP, any ideas which of these firewalls is better with voip? I've read good and bad things about the Sonicwall, but the one i have at Site B doesn't not really give me any problems. Any help/comments will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well to get the same functionality from Cisco that the SonicWall box is providing, I would look at the ASA 5510 box which acts like a firewall and will do additional services besides just being a firewall.

Good luck

Probably be better in the user moderated Information Security Group or the normaly Security, Hacker Detection and Forensics group mate.

Good Luck,

Steve.
