I have recently changed my pix515 to a pix515E as the former one was out of sale and I needed failover support. I have carried the configuration that I had on pix515 verbatim on pix515E. Everything works OK but we can not reach the web server on dmz 172.16.2.3 from the inside, when dmz interface is opened to icmp I can ping the server but when accessing with hhtp the global address 62.244.221.227 does not get get translated to the local address, if I try to reach with the local address I get connected. The only difference among the old and new systems is that the 515E has FOS 6.3 while the 515 had FOS 6.2 Has anyone run into a similar problem or does anyone has any suggestion. I have restrained myself from sending the configuration for the moment.
Thank you in advance
yusuf

yeah, the dns rewrite does not work in 6.3.3, easisest is to downgrade to 6.2 or make a local dns entry/hosts file with the local address in it.

Is there any documentation on dns rewrite indeed not working for 6.3.3?
