Hi I'm pretty new to Cisco Pix hardware and I am wondering whether the following is possible...

In our main London office we have a PIX 515 and so far I have connected three site offices each with PIX 506's, Detroit, Gulidford and Madrid. This is all working fine for users accessing resources in London, but I wondering if it is possible to setup the PIX's so that Guildord can access resources at Madrid without setting up a VPN directly between the two offices firewalls?

The reason being that the site offices currently only have one external IP address available and I believe it's not possible to setup more than one PIX to PIX VPN with only one external IP address?

All help greatly appreciated.

Stephen

Not true!

You can set up as many VPN's as you want with only one external IP address. You can only have one external cryptomap anyway so setting up site to site VPN's between your remote offices should be fine.

Thanks for that... I've sent your post to the forum that advised me I couldn't set up multiple VPN's.

Also this afternoon I've setup VPN's between Guildford - Madrid and Guildford - Detroit with no problems!

Cheers

So that told 'em! ;-)
