Hi All, I'm trying to grant VPN access to our LAN for the technical support department of one of our software vendors. I believe that I am half way there, but may not be. Setting up a PPTP VPN is all brand new to me.

The software vendor's public I.P. address is....

xxx.xxx.xx.74

So at our PIX 506e firewall I have entered...

access-list 120 permit tcp any host xxx.xxx.xx.74 eq 1723
access-list 120 permit gre any host xxx.xxx.xx.74
fixup protocol pptp 1723

Now the software vendor is prompted for a username and password when he tries to connect.

1. How do I set this username and password for him?
2. Is this all that I need to do for him to have the ability to connect?
3. What's his best connection option from there, VNC, Remote Desktop?

many thanks in advance!
