I have a Cisco Pix firewall book and I've been pouring over it to get acquainted with its various functions. But, I'm a little gunshy about starting the setup of the VPN feature.
I feel like I should start with... backing up the current, working configuration. Because, if I ever mess up the config, I can always reload that and be safe, yes?
From there, I'll just need to enable the protocols, ports, addresses in the config via the console to establish the VPN connectivity.
Then, test it via an offsite client?
Sorry this post is so high-level... I just don't feel comfortable with the process and it'd be nice to get a head-nod from someone who's beenthere, donethat.
Thanks.
Daniel.
