All,

I wanna print to a device (file?) and run commands agains the device - I'll explain...:
I want to print using a postscript driver, then pipe the output through a command-line postscript to pdf converter and then store this in a file where it can be picked up by a user.

Any ideas on how to automate a "print-to-file" function when printing to a printer ? A randomly assigned file-name is fine it that's part of the solution...

Thanks for any guidance

Install the postscript printer on the server. Batch file
net use lpt1 \\servername\printername
Put that in the profile tab in ad of the users after saving the batch file in the C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol\domain.com\scripts folder.
