greetings!

why am i getting only 3 ping replies if i issue the command ping ipnumber

 
Sort by date Sort by votes
ping defaults to 3 goes. If you want more you can use the -n <count> option.

ping -n 10 localhost

or

ping -t localhost

to continue pinging until the target fails to respond.

i guess the default ping is 4 because that what i'm getting for other pcs i'm pinging. but not with this other pc giving me 3 replies only
