Hi

The file php.ini doesn't exit in /etc nor /etc/php (i don't even see sub dir php in /etc). Php file, script works no problem but when I run phpinfo.php it let me the the php.ini is in /etc. I even tried to find it with find / -name "php.init" -f, with no success.

Can somebody suggest something?

f youve recently upgraded php from RPM, you'll have 2 files in etc..
php.ini.rpmnew and php.ini.rpmsave (oh joy), the php.ini.rpmnew should work fine once renamed.

If you haven't.....

find / -name "php.ini*" and see what the cat drags in.
