php graph class: labels print on win98/apache, not on web server

A php scripted graph renders fine on both my winpc/apache and the web server, but labels for the graph wedges are blank after pages are uploaded to the web server (FutureQuest), despite no changes in the code. No apparent font path warnings. Can anyone hint at the most likely cause(s)? Very sincerely, anton
