PHP and Apache. Test won't work

first u have downloaded the wrong php, u should have downloaded the zip file. the one u got dosent seem to have Apache support, i dont think anyway. i had same trub and it give me grief 4 2 week. when u wrote the phpinfo file u did save it with .php extension didn't u, if the answer is yes then download the zip file, unpack then install and move and rename the ini file...etc..etc then all should be well.

To err is human, to completely mess up takes a computer.

try starting the php stuff with <?php rather than <?, some setups have recognition of short tags switched off.
