Can't you just press the "Use Adobe Dialog" button?
OS dialog is just the normal Save dialog that's native to your operating system, and the Adobe dialog has a few other bells & whistles to make it fit more comfortably within the whole CS2 suite. Use whichever one you're more comfortable with; if you're a new user, it won't make much difference.
