I have frequently asked (with little success) how I can have a capture device...digitial camera take a photgraph and place it in the general field of my table automatically. I have been told to use the General Append command but that has not worked, can anyone give me a few steps forward...I would truly appreciate it. When you sow a thought, you reap an act. When you sow an act, you reap a habit. When you sow a habit, you reap a character. When you sow a character, you reap a destiny.

Hi
The way I have approached this (with a scanner in this case) is to use the Wang/Kodak control to create the image file on the disk and then append to a table the details of the file and filename. I could of course actually use append general to stick the image into the table but I did not see the point of doing this.
