Photo Editor will not open as a Window

I'm having a weird problem with Photo Editor. It will not diplay as a window. It can be Maximized to full screen and minimized but it cannot be opened as a Window.

When it is supposed to be a window nothing appears but it's taskbar button. Clicking it produces no results, I have to right-click it and choose to maximize the program to see it. Once maximized the program itself runs fine with no problems.

Tried to reinstall, and applied the latest Office SP, neither had any effect.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Go to Start, Programs, right click on Photo Editor. Select Properties. Choose Normal Window from the Run: drop menu at the bottom. Apply, Close.

Doesn't work. The program will only work in a Maximized state. Any time it is in a windowed state it is not visible at all. The program is still running and the button is on the taskbar, but nothing will appear on the screen until you Right-Click the taskbar button and select Maximize.

Bad news is...I'm finding out this is an apparent bug, and Photo Editor, while bundled with Office, doesn't get much support...

Thanks, that's what I was begining to think as well. It is appearing on another PC or two every week. There doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern to it neither.
