I have three offices connected via VPN. Everything worked fine before the upgrade (8-to-9-to-11). 9608 Phones can communicate with IPO using internal private address.

At the remote sites, the phones did not have the proper http address programed so they did not automatically upgrade when the IPO upgraded. The remote phones are working using the old firmware on the new IPO ver. I changed the http address on one of the phones so that it upgraded successfully from 6.2119 to 6.8002. Before the upgrade it worked but after the upgrade and after clearing the phone it asks to be logged in but does not display the correct buttons, has a single column display and does not make or receive calls.

I took a a phone from the home office that was working as expected and plugged it into the the remote office network and had similar results to the phone that was upgraded on site. The only difference is manually setting the IP address info on the phones for the remote subnet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Phones work after backrev to an earlier firmware version. Something is definitely not right with 6.8002.

it could be that something changed in the H323 communication. what type of firewalls provide the VPN? it may be an ALG issue.
