Seeking advice or recommendations on some new tools that might be on the market for identifying live phone circuits(res and com).Right now I use my toner and butt set.Is there anything new yet?

Your buzzer/probe is "old reliable"--why invent something new? The only drawback to the system is interference from AC circuits and lights. But it's not enough of an issue to try to improve it. Besides, buzzers can smoke out X-talk in cables, so that makes up for AC noise.
