phone type 500/2616

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to change to phone type from
500(analogue) to 2616 (digital)??????????

Well there are two wayes to go about this first way would be out the 500 set in ld 10 or 20 and then create a new 2616 set ld ld 11 or 20 the second way would be create a new 2616 set in ld 11 or 20 and out the 500 set in ld 10 or 20 eather way would work fine if your useing the same ext number. You can't change the type on the TN from analog to digital. The line card is still analog : )
Just out and rebuild as digital...doesn't take but 60 seconds to program a 2616

If you take out a 500 set you would need a digital card or port to bulid a digital set and you would have to move your cross cut.
