Phone rings internal but not external ???

I recently swapped extensions and when the extension is dialed internally there is an audible ring, but when its called from the outside there is not.

Can someone help??

You can hear the phone ring as the caller, but it does not ring on Ryan’s desk, when called from the outside. You do end up in the persons voicemail after several rings. Heres the rest of the tn info:

You didn't add the bottom part of the TNB and that may have inportant info for us to help.

Yes 19515 is the voicemail.

Yes but it makes me have to start at the top and go back and forth.


Have you gone to this phone and called another display phone to see what the display say's the calling number is.


I have people tell me all the time that someone called them, but the phone never rang. I go and check the phone and I find someone swapped phones and this guy was telling people his Ext number was what was labeled on the phone. Does the phone get dial tone???
