Just a little tip i found out with playing the version 3 phone manager ipro.
If your using a USB headset and want the call to ring through your speakers (rather than headset) as you know there is a usb settings tab in phone manager. Setting this to multimedia sometimes doesn't work.
Make sure you only have two audio devices in control panel/sound and audio devices. ie: Plantronics USB Headset and C-Media rear panel audio (sound card). If you have any more audio devices it won't know which other multimedia device to ring through.
Also found that setting the gain to about -6db, on the voip extension, removes any audio spiking, clipping
