Phone has a very short ring

First I would make sure the hand set is on the craddle because a 2616 will make the "buzzer" sound witch is a short burst ring then stop. Second I would look at the phone configuration and look at the LPK prompt and make sure the LPK entry is equal to or greater than the key that the line is ringing on.
