phaser 7700 will not go past the xerox introduction

This Phaser will not get past the Xerox splash screen. It just sits there and does nothing. Has anyone experienced this?

Try holding the "back" and "info" keys and power up. This puts it in diagnostics. If it will work, then try and run some of the test prints or look at the general menu and see if any errors are reported. If it prints, the the print engine is working and you have a problem with the image processor, or hard drive (has the OS on it) or memory. If that's the case, it ain't cheap.
