I look after a Meridian PBX 61C and it was just upgraded to Rls 4.5 (CS1000M CP IV). Upgrade went well except now my 911 is not working the way if should there is a pause before it starts to ring. Can you help me????

WE can only help you if you give us more info then there is a pause. Have you tried to help yourself by doing some basic trouble shooting Like? Iv'e never worked on a Rls 4.5 (CS1000M CP IV, but I seem to rember hearing there was a delay put in to help prevent missdialed calls going to 911.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Did what you asked and got an ESN077 after I type in
911. And esn077 error states "error in the network (NARS/BARS) translator.

try it w/o the 911, it will spit out all spns, see if it there...

Or maybe they programmed it as an NXX.

TYPE ALL I think it's all, but it's been a long time.

See if you have a 911 somewhere in that list.

I check ld 90 and there is no SPN for 911.

I did type ALL

At the end I got an ESN071

ESN071
NPA, NXX, etc...specified, does not exist.

and you can dial out? if you print the dnb 9, what does that show? ac1 or a rdb acod?

The above is what I got from ld 24????

It's been a long time since I did this, but try just a return and see what happens.

I did type ALL try just Return instead.

Or if that fails, try NPA OR NXX or SPN one at a time and see if you ever see 911 anywhere.

I can't find anything on 911...I've tried all that you guys suggested but no luck....I want to thank all of you for your help it was helpful and the website is VERY helpful.

There is one more question.....when I dial 911 and add another number or even the * or # sign....911 rings instantly????

I just found out that normal 911 calls are delayed 2 seconds after reading FAQ798-6769 Meridian Systems FAQ Nortel E911.
Once again thanks to all for your help and I know I will be back with a question or 2.

Thanks
