Pgmkr 6.5/Word 2000 conflict on Mac

If I have Word 2000 (or even previous versions of Word) running before opening Pagemaker 6.5, then Pagemaker goes blooey: the toolbar is missing bits, view in "actual size" is like 20000%... absolutely huge, parts of the menu bar are missing, etc. Reinstalling software has no effect. I've been getting around the problem by restarting my iMac (System 9.1) when I want to work in Pagemaker but there's gotta be a better way...

Hi,

Allocating more memory to PM will help to. Cause I think it is a ram problem.

Remove MS Word immediately. You'll solve all your problems.
