Has anyone in here heard of the above? I understand they are a method of ensuring a job/object goes via the quickest route and monitoring it's progress.

More details would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply. I've tried the Google search and signed up to the Petrinet World news service from the 1st result. It seems very, very good and is quite comprehensive.

My only concern now is that I'm going a little too deep! I've since been told about the 'Travelling Salesman' problem, and think that the answer to that may be a little easier than Petrinets!
