I am running windows xp with pervasive 2000 sp3.
For an olp application i need to run btrieve.
But sinds i'm running pervasive the engine wil not start when i start the application.
An error like btrieve engine not found.
There was a way in windows98/windows2000 to edit the register and solve the problem.
Does somebody know a way for windows XP?

I have a situation in which an application running on Btrieve database needs to be transported to SQL database.
This is essential becoz I intend to deploy another vb/SQL applilacation in the same envionrment.

Application one, has to draw relevant data from the second application.

Can the first application ride on SQL? and How?

Request detailed note on this.

Your old Btrieve DOS application should interface directly with Pervasive.SQL to get access to the data, so you don't need to edit the registry. Take a look at the Docs and check our the BtrBox95 for NT. That should also work under XP. You can also check the Pervasive Web site for their Knowledge Base.
