I just recently migrated a customer from IP Office 4.0(7) to 5.0(18). The customer stated the users had personal speed dial numbers they entered on their phones but after the upgrade they were no longer there. On 5.0 the personal directory is empty. Does anyone know where personal speed dials were stored in version 4.0 and if they can be retrieved if I have a backup config from the old system?

The speed dials where on the phone.
After the upgrade they are gone.
Now they can put them in to there own personal directory which are stored on the ipoffice.
This is done because there where too many complains about loosing speed dials :-)
So short story they are gone and have to be re entered.

Thanks. I had a feeling that was the answer but I had never heard anything about speed dials being saved on the telephone before. I even asked disti support staff and they didn't even know it was saved on the phone.

That's one knowledgeable Disti :-)

Nope. It was in the US.

The personal directory in IP Office is only for 1400/1600/9600 series phones only.
