I've set up a MOSS 2007 site following the procedure in the videos here:
In short, everything is set to use NT authentication and all authenticated users are supposed to be allowed as site visitors. The problem is every time I try to bring up the main site (in IE7 and FF3) I get a login box. It seems that my credentials are not being passed correctly, but I can't figure out what's missing. Any ideas?

(I'm on a Win2003 AD domain.)

It is a security issue in FireFox. FireFox will not pass NTLM authentication automatically.

In IE, there are options to fix this. Add the site to your "Trusted Sites" list and make sure the security options for this zone have "Automatic log on with current user name and password" selected. (Tools - Internet Options - Security - Trusted Sites - Custom - Last option in the list)

I was hoping this would be a server based issue, but I believe you're right and this is a browser by browser issue. Oh well.
