Persistent data in the report file (.rep)

For security reasons I would like to get rid of old data that remains hidden in the rep file even after a 'purge' of the dataproviders.
Even though this data is not visible using BO full client, it is still visible if I open the file with Notepad.

Can somebody help me on that matter?
