Permission Problem on new Computer on Network

Put a new computer running Vista Home Basic on my home network. It can see the networked computers fine. The other computers running XP Pro can see the new computer. The XP boxes can not get access to the C: drive on the new Vista box but can access the public directories. I have set up for file and printer sharing. No passwords. The error message is: \\xxx\C is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource.

All boxes log in with admin rights.
