Working with an intranet trying to set up a form e-mailer.  From what I can gather - I would need a Perl Interpreter on the server and a CGI script to be able to use forms on a web page and have those responses either saved or sent to a e-mail inbox.  Am I on the right track or am I missing something?  Is Perl a free download?  Do most web servers already have these CGI scripts and a Perl interpreter on them?  Where can I get free CGI scripts?  Thank-you.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.&nbsp;&nbsp;Do a search to find &quot;free scripts&quot;.&nbsp;&nbsp;Or go to Matt's Script Archive.&nbsp;&nbsp;I think he has a popular one. <p> Sincerely,<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= Anderson</a><br>CEO, Order amid Chaos, Inc.<br>

Is Perl a free download?<br><br>as Tom said, yes.&nbsp;&nbsp; You can get ports for your specific OS or get the raw stuff and 'make' it yourself. <br>If you are running a UNIX box, see <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> and <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> and <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> you are running a M$ Windows OS, see <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> for a well put together port (installer and everything).<br><br> <p> <br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br> keep the rudder amid ship and beware the odd typo
