I have the exact same installation of GP on our sql box, 6 citrix servers, a test server (terminal services only) and my local Windows xp laptop. All ODBC setups are identical. All versions are identical. The citrix servers are very powerful. The test server, not so much.
I did a test transaction in project accounting on each server and here's my findings:
Sqlserver, my laptop and test server - total of 10 seconds to complete transaction entry
All 6 citrix servers - well over 2 minutes.
What could be causing this substantial peformance difference? The only possible answers I can think of our how each server's connected on the network or something with citrix.
Any ideas or things to try would be greatly appreciated!
