Perfmon won't start

I've used perfmon for some time to monitor servers, but now it just times out. Anybody heard of this problem? Thanks. Glen A. Johnson

I had problem like that . that was on win2k server running
SQL and EXCHANGE together ... ( that was at very small company ) , the problem occured when installing SQL7 Service pack , there is exact order you should install patches on the multiple use servers , check at the technet
I found there a document with the explanation of the problem

After reinstalling the patches at the right order it started to work ...
