Hi,

I have got a table with a field for percentages
It is set to:

Data type: Number
Field size: Double
Format: Percent
Decimal places: 2

On my form the text box is:
format: percent
Decimal places: 2

What i want to do is instead of having 21.9 come out as 2190% when you type it in the text box or table it comes out as 21.9%, to save the users having to type in 0.219 when they use the text box.

Is the only way to divide it by 100 in afterupdate or beforeupdate??

Hi

it expects you to store .219 to get 21.9%

when typing in the data to the column you can enter either .219 or 21.9%

try it and see

Website needs upgrading, but for now - UK

so have to add the % at the end to get it to work..
As my users will never bother with that and just type 21.9 ill have to divide by 100 after update.
