PeopleSoft Instances succeeding WITHOUT datasource Login or Password

OK, this is one I've never seen before....

Report Objects are published to Crystal Enterprise 8.5, the Database tab in CMC is defined as follows.

DATASOURCE : PEOPLESOFT PEOPLETOOLS
DATABASE : HRMS8/ORACLE/HRMS8
LOGON NAME : blank
PASSWORD : blank
Prompt the user for new value(s) when viewing : Checked

When users go to VIEW or SCHEDULE the report, they are prompted for the LOGON NAME and PASSWORD, but if the leave it blank the report runs anyway and succeeds.

I'm guessing the ODBC PEOPLESOFT PEOPLETOOLS set-up on the CE Server must have a default LOGON NAME and PASSWORD defined.

Anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you fix it?

Hi,
If that is is indeed the case, have the server administrator change the ODBC DSN to eliminate it.

This assumes that a username/password is needed to log on to Peoplesoft.
