Our PE2650 crashed over the weekend, so first thing when i came in the office this morning was several voicemails and people already waiting for me to fix the problem (i havent even gotten a cup of coffee yet!)

anyway, turns out on the display on the front of our PE2650 the "!" was blinking and there were two messages scrolling:

"EOCF1 - MBE Dimm Bank 2"
"E13F4 - PCI Parity"

Does anyone know where i can look up these error codes? Dell.com didnt really help that much, im just looking for more insight as to what the problem actually was. ( I have since removed the memory that was in bank 2 (A and B) and the server is running ok, just down a few MB's of RAM.

Thanks in advance!

e13f4 means theres a PCI card that has
failed, or the system board failed.

hope this helps

ouch. well that sounds like the memory might be fine, but the board or the DIMM banks (on #2) are dead. Thats definately not good. I think were going to need to contact dell and get some things replaced.

Where did you get that error code at? I would like to look up the other error code as well. "EOCF1 - MBE Dimm Bank 2"

Thanks.
