I created a report from a SQL Server database. I am able to run the report but others receive the error unable to locate pdssql.dll, the dll p2ssql.dll is present on the workstation in c:/winnt/crystal directory.

I tried changing the driver to pdsodbc but the report does not work. I was not able to find and answer on crystals website.

Can someone offer suggestions on how to fix this?

1.does the report work on your computer?

3. do the user access this report from the network or have to copy the report on there computer?
3. what version of crystal are u using?

Ok
do these other computer have the same sql database access?
same table same permission?

Yes,we are connecting to sql server using the same privledges. The logon I test with has select only privledges and the reports runs.

When the other user connects the report opens if you execute the message "the library.dll cannot be found please check your installation.

Hi

are you using a systems DSN ans a ODBC connection?

ok

did you create this report using a odbc connection and a system DSN?

I have seen this before. Make sure all workstations are connecting to the SQL server consistently - i.e. using windows authentication everywhere, or using SQL Server authentication everywhere.
