PDF missing Pagemaker TOC Links 1

I am trying to export a Pagemaker 6.52 booklet to PDF. The TOC links do not appear in the PDF.

I have downloaded the latest (1998) version of the export file and this hasn't helped either.

I know that they can be manually inserted via Acrobat, but since we want to maintain the document in Pagemaker, we would like to be able to export and retain the TOC links, if possible.

Any suggestions

Lady: do you mean a "Book=brochure" or the result of "Build Booklet" ?
For "Book" it works, but only by direct Export to PDF, not by the 2-step
procedure Save as PS / Distill PS. For"Booklet" I wouldn´t expect links,
because Booklet is the large paper sheet for the Service Provider (prepress).

Lady: in the options for Export to PDF is a box
"Maintain Links" (something like this, re-translated
from German). By default the box is checked.
