hi.
can someone please help me...
i am using quark 5.1 and whenever i export a document as a pdf file, it seems to work ok.
but when i open the pdf it says "there was a problem reading this document (12)".
if i cancel past that i can view the file, but it won't allow me to print.
if the document is straight text there's no problem...but if there is an image i get the errors and a big headache that makes me want to drink.
anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it?
thanks.
pete.

Have you tried making a PS file and then getting distiller to convert the file to a PDF file?

Does it matter what kind of images the files are? ie illustrator or graphics.

If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

i think i got it, for some reason it was the eps files that were messing it up?
i switched them to tifs and it seems to work ok.
thanks.
