PDC not authenticating

I have a PDC that does not allow logon for some strange reason. I can get to the server fine and it shows in Server Manager as a PDC but there is no option to logon to the domain.

PDC will not show a "Domain Logon" option......u should still be able to logon with your domain admin account though....?????

i mean that from a seperate domain I do not get the option to logon to a different domain on a different subnet.

Option 1 :
set up WINS on each domain,
add a domain record & a record for the PDC to each remote WINS server
(or set up replication between the two WINS servers)

Option 2 :
set up 1 WINS server, and let both subnets use that WINS server





If you create a trust between those two domains you will be able to share resources
If you want to log on to the domain, you will have to change your network properties, change the domain you're attached to, log off and log on again
