I a newbie.
I want to know how can i recognize between a pdc, bdc and a member server .
I have three of them in my office.

If you go into Administrative Tools, and choose Server Manager you will see a list of the servers/workstations on your network.

Next to the server names you will see a description of NT 4.0 Primary, NT 4.0 Backup, or NT 4.0 Server. These relate to PDC, BDC and member.
