I have a dos-based program running on XP. With Win95 a user could type PCONSOLE to access the printer console. Of course, this is unrecognized in XP. Does anyone know a command I can use from the command shell that will get the same results?? Linda

This is a Novell NetWare issue, not an XP issue. PCONSOLE is an old NetWare program. Perhaps a NetWare forum might be more helpful.

What I was able to dig up though is:

Most of PCONSOLE will still work on XP from a command prompt, but you need to install the NetWare software suite first.

You might also want to look at
There is a lot of good "NetWare under XP" info there. Maybe this will be useful.

Good luck!

Thank you. I did discover that I was dealing with a Novell command. We migrated from Novell w/ Win95 to NT w/XP all at once. So sometimes it's hard for me to tell what is an XP issue and what is not. Thank you for the response.
Happy New Year! Rams Rule!!
